NSW Government Backs Local Sports Development Program

The St. George Junior Rugby Football League would like to thank the NSW Government, Office of Sport which has generously provided funding to support our junior league development program and skills session. This funding has been provided under the local sports grant program, which aims to support grassroots sporting clubs to increase participation, host events, improve access and enhance sport and recreation facilities. This significant investment will empower young athletes and coaches across the region to reach their full potential.

The funding to the league was provided by the Hon. Chris Minns, Premier of NSW and Member for Kogarah alongside the Hon. Steve Kamper, Minister of Sport and Member for Rockdale.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the NSW Government for their commitment to grassroots sports and their recognition of the importance of our program. With this support, we are confident that we can continue to inspire and nurture the next generation of sporting champions.

With the equipment purchased, the junior league look to run more programs to support the community further.
